Hi today, we're going to make Magic Bars, or as some of you might know them, Hello Dollies. These bars have a wonderfully sweet flavor and are chewy and gooey. The best part? There's no beating, mixing, or stirring of ingredients. We'll take six ingredients and layer them one by one in a pan, then bake them. That's it!

Ingredients
1/2 cup (113 grams) butter, melted
1 and 1/2 cups (150 grams) graham cracker crumbs or crushed digestive biscuits
1 cup (240 milliliters) shredded or flaked coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
1 cup (about 170 grams) chocolate chips (bittersweet or semi-sweet)
1 cup (about 120 grams) chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, or a mix)
1 can (400 grams) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

Prepare Baking Pan: Lightly butter or spray a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking pan with nonstick spray.

Melt Butter: Pour the melted butter into the pan and swirl it around to evenly cover the bottom.

2

Add Graham Cracker Crumbs: Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs evenly over the melted butter. Use your hand to spread them out, making sure to get into the corners.

3

Add Coconut: Evenly distribute 1 cup of shredded or flaked coconut over the graham cracker crumbs.

4

Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over the coconut. You can use bittersweet, semi-sweet, white, or milk chocolate chips.

5

Add Nuts: Add 1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, or a mix) over the chocolate chips.

6

Add Sweetened Condensed Milk: Drizzle 1 can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layers. This will bind all the ingredients together as they bake, making the bars sweet, gooey, and chewy.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Cut: Let the bars cool completely. Then, use a sharp knife to cut them into squares.

Conclusion:
These magic bars are great for a last-minute dessert, bake sales, or holiday treats. They can be frozen, stored in the refrigerator, or kept at room temperature. Everyone seems to love them!
I hope you enjoy making and eating these delightful bars as much as I do. Until next time, happy baking! Don't forget to like and comment .
