Good afternoon, my dears! Welcome to my kitchen. Today, I will share the simplest way to seal cucumbers for the winter. This method is so easy that I would even call it the lazy way. There's no need to drain the jars, and you can pour boiling water over everything quickly and simply. This recipe is great because it works with almost any type of cucumber, even overgrown ones. The result is sour, sweet, salty, crispy, and incredibly tasty cucumbers. Let's dive into the details of this effortless pickling method.

Ingredients
For each liter of water in the marinade, you will need:

50g coarse salt
100g sugar
1-2 bay leaves
2-3 allspice peas
1 tablespoon of ready-made seasoning for preserving cucumbers and tomatoes (or as per the instructions on the package). The seasoning typically includes dill, mustard seeds, horseradish root, and pepper. If you don't have the seasoning, you can add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds.
120ml of 9% table vinegar for each kilogram of cucumbers.
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cucumbers
Wash and Soak: Wash the cucumbers well and soak them in cold water for 2 hours. After soaking, drain the water and wash the cucumbers thoroughly again.
Trim and Cut: Cut off the tails of the cucumbers and slice them into large pieces.

3

Step 2: Sterilize Jars
Sterilize Jars: Sterilize the jars using any method that is convenient for you.
Prepare Lids: Fill the lids with boiling water and leave them for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Marinade
Mix Ingredients: For the marinade, you'll need 1 liter of water for each kilogram of cucumbers. I have 2 kg of cucumbers, so I will use 2 liters of water. In a saucepan, add the water, salt, and sugar.

4

Add Spices: Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, add the vinegar and let it boil again.
Cook Cucumbers: Add the cucumber pieces to the boiling marinade and cook, stirring, for several minutes until the cucumbers change color (about 2-3 minutes).

5

Step 4: Fill the Jars
Fill with Marinade: Remove the cucumbers from the heat and fill the prepared jars with the marinade, ensuring they are filled to the very top.
Seal Jars: Immediately seal the jars with their lids, turn them upside down, and let them cool completely. Additionally, you can wrap them up to ensure they cool slowly.

Conclusion
This easy and simple recipe for pickling cucumbers takes little time and requires few ingredients, but the result is delicious.
